Privacy policy
Short version: the quizzes run in your browser, your answers never leave your device, we set no cookies and we have no accounts. The only thing we count is an anonymous statistic that cannot be linked to you.

Your answers stay on your device
When you take a quiz, the page adds up your answers with JavaScript in your browser. Your individual answers are never sent to our server or anyone else's. When you close or reload the page, they are gone. We do not store them in cookies or in your browser's storage either.
Sharing a result
If you tap "Share my result", your device's share menu opens with a link like aesthetic-quiz.com/result/dark-academia/. That link only names the aesthetic. It contains none of your answers and nothing that identifies you. Where it goes is up to you.
Anonymous usage statistics
When you finish a quiz, we count that in an anonymous, aggregate statistic. Each count contains only the event, which aesthetic was shown and which of the three quizzes it was, plus a country-level location, your device type and the hour it happened. We store no IP address, set no cookies and attach no identifier of any kind, so no count can be linked to you. If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control or Do Not Track signal, we do not count anything at all.
Cookies
We do not set any cookies. The site works fully without them.
Hosting
The site is hosted by Render. Like any web host, its servers handle the technical requests your browser makes to load the pages. We do not use those server logs to track visitors.
Advertising
This site shows no ads today. If we add ads in the future, we will update this page first to name the ad partner, explain its cookies and add a consent choice where the law requires one.
Children
The quizzes are suitable for all ages and collect no personal data from anyone, children included.
Your rights (GDPR)
We operate from the EU and aim to comply with the GDPR. Because the quizzes collect no personal data, there is normally nothing personal we hold about you. Write to us at the address above with any request or question.
